Billing Functional Overview
This document provides an overview of all billing functionality in NDoc. Its intent is to provide a rudimentary understanding of the settings that drive the functionality and the basic basic billing and report workflows that are available.
This document provides an in-depth walkthrough of all primary functions and settings available via NDoc's integrated billing solution. It is designed to mirror the content covered during our standard training sessions to ensure customers have material available to onboard their own teams.
Conversion Resources
Sample Billing Conversion Timeline
This timeline provides an example of the tasks and related timing for each required to complete a transition to billing directly out of NDoc. Each customer will be engaged to determine the timeframe during which they intend to transition and a custom timeline generated to reflect the timeframe. Each task represented in this timeline is clarified further in the Billing Conversion Guide.
Billing Conversion Guide
This guide provides a comprehensive, low-level walk through of each phase of the conversion process. The guide should be read thoroughly prior to engaging in your conversion procession and will be reviewed with you during the Kickoff Teleconference at the onset of your conversion process.
Billing Configuration Workflow Sheet
This document should be downloaded and reviewed early in your conversion process and used to track progress with the configuration ongoing. The sheet is designed to be filled out by the customer as they complete each step of configuration, with a final review of all progress occurring the week prior to go-live. The sheet provides clarity in the following ways:
- Column B – an indication of which data we intend to import automatically (via a “Yes”) to clarify where we plan to reduce data entry
- Column C – in indication of whether each step is required for a Home Health (HH), Hospice (HO) customer only, or both (HH & HO)
- Column D – clear mapping to the location of any existing data in the current billing system that might help your decision-making in NDoc
- Column E – recommended reports that a customer can make use of in the current billing system to give visibility into existing data that might help your decision-making in NDoc
- Column F – clear mapping to the location of input for new data into the clinical application
- Columns G, H, I – clarifying text indicating the purpose of a step in configuration, the workflow customers must take on the reference screens, and how the tables and settings impact the billing functionality
