CMS PECOS Imports

This page contains the NDoc formatted CMS PECOS import file to be used in the NDoc PECOS Import function.  The data contained in this file is very large, so the file has been zipped to reduce the amount of time to download.

NOTE: Agencies MUST use the file linked at the bottom of this page for the NDoc PECOS Import function.  The data contained in the zip file is a formatted version of the CMS PECOS Order and Referring Data File (ORDF) for any providers with HHA or Hospice set to YES.  Physicians with other options such as PartB, DME, or PMD set to Yes, and HHA/Hospice set to NO will NOT appear in the PECOS file.

The import process will update the Home Health (HHA) and Hospice flags within the Physician Table based on the value in the ORDF file.  For background, the source of this file is the CMS PECOS website found here: https://data.cms.gov/provider-characteristics/medicare-provider-supplier-enrollment/order-and-referring/data.  Once you have downloaded the file below, unzip it, and save the CSV file to a location you can access from NDoc.  Within NDoc (Administration > System > Settings > PECOS Import) you can browse and import the CSV file.  For further guidance on managing PECOS within NDoc, please refer to the Reference for the PECOS Index Import.
